Today started out pretty normally, I mean, I did have a meeting today which required me to get up earlier than usual and hitch a ride with my dad to school, but other than that (and experiencing the long wait for tricycles i only used to see from my car window), it was still pretty bleh. So i stumbled up to the Publications Office, where I was greeted from a yell from our Research head (who was also my classmate).
I guess the following conversation went like this (translated into English)
Me: Sorry I'm late, the traffic was terrible and-
Gav: You b*tch, you passed! (tagalog: Walanghiya, pumasa ka!)
Me: What? Yeah, I got my La Salle results last night.
Gav: No, not La Salle, UP! Materials Engineering!
So, YES. YES YES YES. well not really yes. I mean, it's good enough that I got INTO UP, but I wanted to take architecture, not Mat. Eng, so i cried a little bit and we went on with the meeting. Homeroom was filled with yelling at all the people in the class who passed (and shaking one of my friends who got into Business Admin, which was supposedly triple quota course or something like that, i'm not really sure.)
anyway, i've been planning to get back to my poor little neglected blog, and this news was one of the best i've received this 2011. I'm just hoping the rest of the year stays this great :)
(to people who got curious, I passed DLSU for IME-IT, and Materials Engineering for UP. xD)

hey blog ;D
these past few days have been.. i don't know. not exactly busy, but it's like when i FEEL like blogging, there's always something i have to do, and i just got some time to post.
ANYWAY.
one of my classmates who went abroad during the semestral break gave us kitkats earlier. ;D
wasabi and green tea kitkats, to be exact, and they were amazing~
i would have enjoyed them more if i didn't have a dang cold, but oh well :P
so that's it for today. am currently working on a new (pretty cute if i must say so) layout. i don't know when it'll be finished but i'll try to finish it before next week. :P

well, I haven't gotten the new layout up as i promised, and i haven't been active in yonks, and i guess i'm sorry for that.. these past few months have been really busy (with the being bombarded with performance tasks/projects, and exams and whatnot), and i haven't been feeling up to.. blogging. i guess things were getting boring, and reliving the boredom via posting it on my blog didn't really agree with me, so yus.
updates:
i'm reconsidering putting the layout i promised up. when i'm not too busy* (busy= too consumed by playing browser games. well just two really.
habbohotel and
ourworld.)
i'm trying to relearn CSS. that's probably one of the reasons why i can't put the layout up yet. i've forgotten some of the code stuff D;
i also got a new guitar, as well as some new books. i've finished both books and i've touched my guitar, like, once. xD
i went mall-hopping with my best friends since freshman year and ended up not buying anything. we went to her mom's office after though, and helped the little trick-or-treating kids. they were so cute!~
that's it for today. i'll post more when i think of more stuff. ;P

book review!~
The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan
this was a book assigned by our english teacher for our book report on the first semester..
at first I didn't really want to read it (since he.. er, compared it to twilight, and
I've never really been a fan of the series), but I thought, hey. He's going to force us to read this anyway, why not
get it over with?
So I bought the book last sunday afternoon and finished reading the same night. x3
It was actually really good, I mean, maybe it's that I sort of understand the daughters' perspective. Their moms were born in china, and they were born in the US, and they had their different opinions and different experiences.
I sort of related to this, 'cause like everyone else, most times my mom and I aren't on the same wavelength at all, and.. yeah.
I guess that's it for now, I just remembered I still have to do some research for our performance tasks and stuff. x3

hey guys!
so, the first week of classes was pretty okay (aside from the extremely-packed lunch/break periods where we were forced to go to the college canteen just so we could eat and things) and the fact that we need to evacuate our beloved pretty classrooms by 4pm 'cause the law students are using the building.
anyway, I had CAT this morning, and it was pretty fun.
they taught us the basic commands and our officers made us do squats and bombers loads of times. (my knee actually hurts. D; )
anyway, when I got home I was so tired, but I had to go out again so I didn't get to sleep.
when I got to the mall I saw ricky, alyssa and ara. x3
I went with them for a while (okay, for the most part I was in line to play technika. I don't get how that card thing works.. but I want one. x3)
OH. OH. OH. how was I supposed to know that you were oh-oh-over me I think that I should go.

I love my technical drawing class! :D
It seems amazing and though our teacher says it's going to be pretty hard,
I'm looking forward to it. (nerdalert. no, it's just that I want to take up architecture in college and this is sorta like a preparation of some sort. and drawing is fun :3 )
Related to the topic, I still need these things:

an HB pencil (I forgot to buy one, but I'll probably get one of those mechanical pencils.)
a refillable technical pen

super psyched so far, I hope the rest of the year goes this well.

amazing compared to the old one (

everything's all new, the boards (which are glass something) are shiny, the seats are awesome (they sorta flip back like movie seats when they aren't used, so they save space too), and the view is amazing too. :D
I'm really happy that my section gets to use the new building, since this'll be
my last year in SBCA (I'm graduating in March :/ )
and I'm so pepped up about this year, I just think
something good's going to happen, even when almost everything's going wrong. :)
and there's just something about starting school like this. everything feels.. new?
like anything's possible. :)
